Liam’s 3 Year Check Up

The Stat’s:
Height: 37in
Weight: 31lbs
(no idea what the %’s are?)


Liam did great at his 3 year check up. He had to perform a few ‘tests’ for the doctor which he did very well. (Things like standing on one leg, hopping foot to foot, answering questions like “What do we do when we are hungry”) At three years old, you would think Liam was 30. He has been talking like an adult for so long that we sometimes forget that he’s still a baby (er…toddler). The things that come out of his mouth have us cracking up all the time. He uses words like ‘hilarious’ and ‘automatically’ which for some reason, make us laugh hysterically. Some of the things he says just seem so grown up! A few thing about Liam at 3:
- He is very affectionate. He loves to give us hugs and kisses before bed, and he MUST have them before he can lay down and snuggle up.
- He is still listening to his Christmas Song Nursery CD Every night before bed. And he has to have his alarm clock on.
- He refuses to sleep in pj’s and only wants to sleep in his underwear “Like Daddy”
- Loves to color and play with his toy cars.
- Still isn’t interested in tv. He will watch a few minutes here and there, but I don’t think we’ll be taking him to his first movie any time soon.
- Still naps for at least an hour and a half  a day.
- Eats great for breakfast and lunch, but isn’t a big dinner eater.
- Drinks water, apple juice or milk.
- Loves fruit snack and would eat any candy we would let him.
- Loves to sing and dance.
- Adores his little sister. He helps me out so much with her.
- Sits in time out often. Whoever said it was the terrible 2’s was mistaken….we’re pretty sure we are in the terrible 3’s.
We are so in love with him….time out’s an all!
