28 Weeks

I'm officially 28 weeks pregnant and I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by! I'm still in the sweet stage, where I feel really good for the most part. I'm exhausted at the end of the day, but I don't know too many people with a 2 1/2 year old that aren't! The nursery is coming together and I am in love with it! I'm finally starting to decorate and it's so much fun. Liam loves to talk, give hugs and kisses and share his toys with baby Olivia. One night before bed, he took his bunny (his obsession!) and put it right under my shirt "For Olivia to play with." Maybe one of the sweetest things ever. It's hard to believe she is going to be here in just a few months, and we are so excited. At the same time, we are soaking up as much time as we can with our sweet little boy while he is still our only :)

Christmas Present Maddness!

We opened gifts at so many different times, it's hard to keep it all straight! A few days before Christmas with Ricky and Susan:

Christmas Eve at Mimi and Papa's:

And Christmas Day with Nana and Pop:

SNOW on Christmas!!!

We couldn't believe it when we looked outside Christmas morning, and it was snowing!! Apparently Atlanta hasn't had snow on Christmas since the 1800's!

We headed over to my parents house around 11:30 and the weather was still ok outside. Unfortunately, it the temperature was dropping and by the time everyone was supposed to meet at my parents for Christmas dinner, it was a little to dangerous to be driving. We were so sad not to have everyone together on Christmas Day, but we were thankful that we were all able to be together on Christmas Eve. Here we are with Nana and Pop on Christmas night:

Christmas Morning

Liam woke up at about 7 on Christmas morning, and the first thing he said was "Did Santa come last night? And eat cookies?" Hah! We headed downstairs and his eyes got so big. He seemed kind of confused, and wanted me to hold his hand all the way to the tree. Mike was videotaping so we didn't get a lot of pics, but here are a few.
Letter from Santa :)

With his new 'Froggy'
Liam's favorite toy out of EVERYTHING he got for Christmas. A $9.99 Home Depot tool box from Toy's R Us. Figures!

Cookies for Santa

Two for Santa....a bite for Liam......

Santa's lucky there was anything left for him ;)

Attempt at a family picture

I swear Mike looking at the camera smiling, and Liam was cracking up laughing 2 seconds before we took this picture. Swear.

The things Liam says....

Liam has a very clear vocabulary for the most part. We almost never have a hard time understanding what he is saying. But there are a few things that he says wrong, that are just too cute to correct:

- Old MacDonald's (McDonald's)

- Tater-ma-head (Mr. Potato head)

- Chench-Fries (French Fries)

- Buzz Lightening-ma-year (Buzz Lightyear....I think he says it like this because of Lightning McQueen)
- Paper Toilet (pretty obvious, not sure why he can't get the order right?)
- Mac-ri-oni

I wish I could bottle up his sweet little voice! I could listen to him talk all day. (Did I really just say that??)

What happens when Liam naps in his big boy bed?

He is able to wake up, sneak out of his room and into our room, go into the bathroom and get into my makeup..mascara to be exact.....All before we even know he's awake.

Stinker!

"Here's your butt cream"

A few weeks ago Liam had a little bit of diaper rash so I pulled out the Butt Paste. Later that afternoon, Mike had taken Liam upstairs for a bath, and I hear Liam yelling for me from the upstairs hallway. I look up and he has a tube of my FOOT cream (That kind of looks like his butt paste I guess) and he is yelling down at me "Mommy!!! HERE'S YOUR BUTT CREAM!!" Over and over. I just hope he didn't go to school telling people about Mommy's Butt (foot) cream! Pretty hilarious :) Oh....and a few days later, I overheard him telling him butt cream (while giving it a hug) that he loved it. A little strange, but at least he has a big heart!?

Olivia's 3D Pictures!

We went tonight and had a 3D ultrasound of Olivia. We did this was Liam at almost the same time (I was 27 weeks with him, and 26weeks 3days this time) and it was such a neat experience that we knew we wanted to do the same with Olivia. Here are our favorite pics from the session:

I don't think she looks too much like Liam did, but I guess you just never know. We are SO excited to be adding a little girl to the family and we can't wait to meet her!

Liam's first night in the Toddler Bed.....

On Sunday, Mike and I decided that the time had come to change Liam's crib over to a Toddler bed. We want him in a Twin before Olivia comes, and we weren't sure how long of a process it might be. Well he did GREAT! The first night he fell out of the bed before he even fell asleep! haha! But he went back in like such a big boy and did great the rest of the night. Or so we thought.....

All tucked in, ready to go to sleep...

About 30 minutes later, sound asleep.....

How we found him the next morning.....

Haha!!! We both almost died when we walked in. He never cried when he woke up so we just figured we would find him still in bed. This was our conversation on the way to school that morning:
Me: Did you like sleeping in your big boy bed?
Liam: Mommy, I falled out of the bed.
Me: Well what did you do after you fell out?
Liam: I just sleeped on the floor.

Love, love, love that boy!!

(He's done really great ever since the first night. Hasn't fallen out once, and we haven't found him on the floor again!)

Decorating the Tree...

Liam was really into decorating the tree this year. Of course, I didn't get a picture of the finished product, but he is SO much fun this year at Christmas!

Liam and Bella Dog

Liam loves Berkley, but the bond that he has with Bella is so special. He loves her so much! He hugs her, kisses her, follows her around. He calls her "My Bella." It makes me feel so good about our decision to go ahead with her back surgery a few months ago. Our family just wouldn't be the same without her.

(For the record, I realize that Bella doesn't seem to like the affection in these pictures, but I assure you that she loves Liam as much as he loves her!)

Liam's First Braves Game

Back in October we took Liam to his first ever Braves game. The Braves were playing the Phillies, and since we love the Phillies too we figured it would be a great game regardless of who won. We were a little nervous because it was a 7:30 Friday night game, and Liam is usually in bed by then, but he shocked us all and was a perfect angel all night.

He was doing the Tomahawk Chop the whole way back to the car :)
